We had some caches left over and whilst doing maintenance on both “Grendon Wander” and 'Grendon Wood" trails, we found a little walk along a footpath between the two - now called our Grendon Link trail. If you are making a day off this, I would suggest parking near "Spon Lane Cache and Dash", where there is roadside parking, then walk towards Grendon Wood #1.
This cache is large enough for swag and trackables - fill it up, only take if replacing!
There is usually livestock in the fields opposite and along this trail you will need to cross a busy road, so please keep geodogs on a lead and geokids close by. Tweezers and pen are required throughout the trails and as always, please replace as found and keep the caches well hidden.
We hope you have fun finding our caches, as much fun as we had hiding them. The trails are walks we’ve done many times & our geokids have greatly influenced the hiding places. We often go on a bear hunt, sneaking past Stick Man’s family tree & looking out for the Gruffalo! Watch out for the big bad mouse!
