Geocache Description:

Load up the boat and hit the river!

This cache is located in "one-day" section of the Flint River down stream from the Goat Mountain camp and launch point or just over 5 miles from the Hwy 18 launch.  If you don't have a canoe or kayak, rentals are available at the "Outpost" at the Hwy 36 bridge.
They also provide shuttle services for those who need it.

This cache is located just beyond the point where Pigeon Creek flows into the Flint River.  On a hot day paddling the Flint, the ice cold waters of Pigeon Creek are almost painful.  This location is also a great camping spot if you're doing the 2-day trip. Recent efforts by the DNR have blocked off vehicle access and created 4 separate camp sited along the river.

You are looking for a clear pelican type case (approximately 4x8x2) located along the access road behind the camp sites between camp 1 and 2.
