About ten metres off trail, you are seeking two fallen trees leaning on a fence remnant. Yes, I have a thing for fence remnants. The shiny tube is hanging on the metal fence post. Be careful, the very very old barbed wire is still there, on the ground. If snow is a metre deep, I will move container.
Concerning the hide location, this was not my first choice. Assume that you will encounter ticks and poison ivy once you leave the trail.
