While I've learned to think twice about placing caches on certain trails due to the simple fact that they weren't enjoyable enough hikes to return to, that is certainly not the case with Mt. Waterman. This is without a doubt my favorite local hike due to its gorgeous views and gradual elevation gain. This was my second time up here in a month, and this area will definitely be a regular destination for those days when I just need to get away. Dodgier34 and I headed up here today to avenge two DNFs and to get away from life's responsibilites for a while. We had the trail to ourselves, and without our collective, much-loved but enthusiastically chatty gang of kids along, we hiked at our own pace and had a fabulously relaxing day. We decided that the previous comments from fellow cachers that 'this trail needed a few more caches' were valid. This hide is not far from the first spot where one can stand and enjoy the views while taking a breather. On this day, the fog layer was not far below us, blanketing the valleys below. It was beautiful.
You are looking for a camoed pill bottle, just a bit off the main trail, probably RIGHT where you would have hidden it...
