This geocache is one in a series of 20, as part of Knox City Council's Knox Nature Discovery Passport (KNDP). The passport showcases 50 Bushland Reserves and Parks around Knox, 20 of which contain geocaches. In each of the caches there is a different stamp which can be used to stamp the passport.
Koolunga Native Reserve is a 9-hectare area that was purchased from Chandler’s Daffodil Farm in 1968. The name ‘Koolunga’ is an Aboriginal word meaning ‘banks of a stream’.
