THIS IS A POWER TRAIL. All caches have been placed so that they are easily accessible and not too far off the road. In 2020, we were able to find all caches on this road in an SUV. Roads were in good shape. Use care at all times.
*Cut and paste logs are welcomed. Plastic baggies on logs are necessary to protect them from moisture; please use them.
*Critters tend to move these around sometimes so if you do not find it at the likely spot, take a look around!
*Description of your adventure is appreciated, especially if Lemurian's are spotted!!
*Make sure you have plenty of food and water.
*Cell reception out here is not great so do not count on having phone service or satellite map service.
*Make sure someone knows where you are heading before leaving home.
*Make sure you have a full tank of gas (closest gas stations are McCloud, Mt. Shasta or Weed).
*Make sure you have a good spare tire and jack.
*Pruning shears are helpful to reduce scrapes to your car sides as some roads are narrow and/or overgrown.
*Be careful! Roads are not terribly busy but still have traffic. Pull off as far to the side as you can and watch for logging trucks.
*THIS IS BEAR COUNTRY! Please respect their territory!
*Caches are NOT advisable to be found during winter months due to snow. Weather can change suddenly. Some roads are not open during the winter periods.
MOST OF ALL have fun! Teamwork is an added plus as you drive, navigate, log the caches and find them!
