Congrats to OPJim and Dude for FTF.
The Red Rock Trail #294 runs between the Control Road #64 and the Highline Trail #31. From the Control Road, it gains about 600 feet in one mile. The lower half is a fairly smooth dirt trail. About half way up, the trail becomes steeper and more rocky. Once at the junction of the Highline and Red Rock Trails, continue west a short ways to Red Rock Springs and a cache by the same name.
Directions: From Highway 87 and the Control Road #64, take the Control Road east about 2.5 miles to the Trailhead and parking. N 34 21.898 W 111 23.336. Note: the Control Road is a gravel road suitable for most vehicles, but it is bumpy, and we prefer to take our jeep. The parking at the trailhead is limited to about 4 vehicles. The cache is about 350 feet from parking.
