This is a rebirth of a cache my son, and I placed in 2008. It is an interesting rock formation. There are several boulders that have fallen from the cliffs above. However, this is a massive boulder that appears to have split right down the middle when it came to rest. It has formed a sort of tunnel through it. The cache was originally placed in this cavity. However, it kept being damaged or stolen. It is now near by and not so obvious.
The cache is a short walk from Argyle canyon road up a wash. It is an easy walk and only takes a few minutes to reach it. The rock formation can be seen from the main road. The hide is just off the county right of way and legal to access.
