Pequeña Fortaleza (Small Fort). This little structure, reminiscent of the Alamo or some of the old Spanish missions is nestled up on a hill just a little way from the bustiling noise of traffic on US 290 in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. It will provide the geocachers a bit of a respite from the road and a quiet place to look for what they are after.
I've been around this place lots of times and haven't ever seen a snake but it woud be proudent for you to be careful. And watch your step as you approach. We don't see as many ammo boxes as we once did but this one is loaded and waiting for your attention. Please restore it as you found it....or, if it seems out of place, fix it. Thanks.
