Geocache Description:

Kit Hill Country Park was given to Cornwall Council by the Duchy of Cornwall for the people of Cornwall in 1985, to celebrate the birth of Prince William. It is a World Heritage site for it's mining history and ancient buriel sites.

This cache is hidden on the northern slope of Kit Hill Country Park and in the only wooded area of the hill. The cache is near the boundary of the park. The nearest parking is on the summit and the path down to the cache site is quite steep. The paths are well defined but this area of the hill gets overgrown with bracken so you may have to push your way through in summer. All part of the fun but be TIC conscious.

Paths take you close to the cache and this part of the hill is seldom visited and very quite. You will not be disturbed where the cache is.

The log book is in a small outdoor key safe with a 4 digit code. All you have to do is find the code and it's order.

Please note - when closing up the 'safe' you will have to put the code in again and push down the black button. Thank you.

The cache has been placed with the kind permission of the Kit Hill Park Ranger..
