Geocache Description:

The A.T. & S.F. Locomotive 9005 is a historic train engine and tender built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1906 in Pennsylvania.  Originally designed as a road engine, it was assigned to be a switching engine in the Clovis train yard.  It was orignially built as a coal burner but later modified in 1944 to burn fuel oil.  The engine operated in Clovis until it was retired in 1954.  It was displayed at Hillcrest Park for 57 years and was then moved to where it sits today at the Historic Railroad Park.  Enjoy visiting this historic train engine!

PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB ON THE TRAIN
