This loop of 18 caches has a mix of easy and tricky finds and a range of containers. If you're familiar with our other MattTom's series' you will know that our caches are mostly hidden to find but do present experienced cachers with one or two fiendishly challenging hides. Stealth will be required and athleticism for one! Please replace caches as found. You will need tweezers and a pen.
This walk is approximately 5 miles of mostly flat terrain through open fields, woodland and quiet country roads. The footpaths are mainly very good, but might get a bit muddy in winter.
On our walks here we have seen deer, red kites, kestral, rabbits, squirrels, horses, and many smaller birds, insects and butterflies.
This loop intersects our MattTom's Toy Trail and can be added to our other MattTom loops in the area to make a longer walk. We have also placed a Church Micro at St Nicholas Church in Great Munden which you will pass.
From the recommended parking places the MattTom's Nasty Loop can be split in two.
