1842-98 Traditional Cache

The Mount Ida Wilderness Area includes a gravel access road and parking lot, picnic shelter and a one-half mile moderate to strenuous trail to the top of City property on Mt. Ida overlooking Downtown Marion.  After arriving at the top by car you can park and bgin your journey. The cache you seek will be small in size and even painted black. The journey will not be strenous as we want everyone to have the experience. Mt. Ida is a mountain that holds many mysteries and some would even say it has a "gem" of a history to tell.
