You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.

There are some areas that are just too cool not to have a cache but for a multitude of reasons can't have one placed at the physical location.

To find this physical cache you must first go to the coordinates provided when completing the puzzle and you will be at one of those places.

Once there, take the large number (which now knowing should win you any local trivia contest) and convert it to meters. This should give you a four digit number followed by a single number after the decimal point, five numbers all together.

Now we are going to make a three digit number from them, so separately take note of the last number (the one after the decimal point) and the second number for the first two of the three digits. Then add the second and fourth numbers together for the third digit. You will need to subtract these three digits from the last three digits of this locations North coordinate.

Now for the West coordinate we only need to make a two digit number, so separately take note of the fourth digit, then just for fun write it down again and you should now have a two digit number. You will need to subtract that number from the last three digits of this locations West coordinate.

What you have left should now be the coordinates to the physical cache and can also be checked with the Certitude link.

Enjoy the view, have a little math fun, and revel in now knowing some Hudson Valley Trivia you may not have known before! Sorry the physical location could not be as cool as the virtual location.

Copy the key exactly and enter it into the Certitude site, punctuation is important, or the lack thereof in some cases. Copy and paste should guarantee success as well. It is also highly advisable that you create an actual login for the puzzle site. This allows for your puzzle progress to be auto-saved every time you place a piece. You can then come back to the site at any time and pick up where you left off.

Due to the nature of this geo-art, a large number of placements are needed within 2 miles of the project. This means that the actual locations will be a mix of cache types from typical urban style park and grabs to actual hikes in the woods. Enjoy!
