MT#19 - Grasgeflüster Letterbox Hybrid

Im Rahmen dieser Serie möchte ich euch einige meines Erachtens sehenswerte Filme präsentieren - darunter sind viele Klassiker, aber auch das eine oder andere weniger bekannte Kleinod ist zu finden.

Die Fragen zum Film sind bewusst so gewählt, dass es wohl nur sehr schwer möglich ist, alle Antworten zu finden, ohne sich den Film anzusehen. Aber darum geht es ja in erster Linie: ihr sollt euch den Film anschauen!

Damit es sich für euch auch lohnt, gibt es für den Erstfinder eine goldene Oskar-Figur in jedem Cache der Serie! Wer letztendlich die meisten Statuen gesammelt hat, gewinnt einen Kinogutschein im Wert von €100,-. Aber natürlich verrate ich euch nicht, wieviele Caches im Laufe der Zeit erscheinen werden!

Grace Trevethyn (Brenda Blethyn) führt ein angenehmes Leben. Sie wohnt mit ihrem Ehemann in einem großen Anwesen in einer Kleinstadt. In ihrer Freizeit kümmert sie sich um den botanischen Garten des Hauses. Sie trifft sich außerdem gerne mit ihren Freundinnen auf einen Tee. Dieses schöne Leben kommt zu einem abrupten Ende: Grace findet heraus, dass ihr Ehemann sie schon länger betrogen hat. Als es zu seinem unerwarteten Tod kommt, muss Grace feststellen, dass es finanziell gar nicht gut aussieht und ihr Mann sie jahrelang belog. Das Einzige, was ihr Gatte ihr vermachte, sind über dreihunderttausend Pfund Schulden! Die frische Witwe ist mit der Situation total überfordert. Im Sekundentakt erhält sie Post von der Bank, und Gerichtsvollzieher nehmen ihr gesamtes Hab und Gut mit. Zusammen mit ihrem Gärtner Matthew Stewart (Craig Ferguson) kommt ihr die Idee: Sie kann sich ihren grünen Daumen zu Nutzen machen und Hanf verkaufen, um ihre Geldprobleme zu lösen. Der Anbau der grünen Droge funktioniert zunächst auch reibungslos. Das Problem ist nur, es ist nicht sehr leicht, so eine große Menge an den Mann zu bringen.

Dies ist in dieser Form leider notwendig, da manche Multichecker von Groundspeak als illegal angesehen werden! Mir persönlich tun solche Rückschritte sehr leid, sind aber unumgänglich, damit dieser Cache veröffentlicht werden kann!

As a reward, any single cache will contain a golden movie buff statue - this can be collected by the first one to find the cache. At the end of the day, when all caches of the series are released, the one who has collected the highest number of statues, earns a movie theater voucher in the amount of €100,- And no, I will not tell you, how many caches are to be released!

A widow discovers after her husband's suicide that he has mortgaged everything they own and the banks are ready to foreclose. Faced with impending doom and little working knowledge except her ability to grow plants, she struggles to save her home. Enter her gardener, who is struggling to make a few marijuana plants grow in a hidden location and suggests that she use her green house to help grow the plants and sell them to make the money both need. He is wanting to get married, but needs capital. What he doesn't know is that his girl friend is pregnant and thus fears that they will be busted for growing marijuana. While supposedly working, the whole village is well aware of the endeavor and is hoping for their success. When the plants come in, Grace takes the crop to London and tries to sell it to a ruthless, but charming drug dealer. Everything busts loose from there.
