Geocache Description:

The COVID-19 pandemic persists as history-in-the-making for the unknown future. For the United States, Washington State stood out in several instances and was put on the map. This series of geocaches display spotlights.

Washington State had the first confirmed death of COVID-19 in the U.S. (not counting later retroactive research that may have uprooted earlier deaths in other states). On February 26, 2020, a resident of a long-term care facility was the first known U.S. death from COVID-19. CDC in its weekly MMWR stated: “COVID-19 can spread rapidly in long-term residential care facilities, and persons with chronic underlying medical conditions are at greater risk for COVID-19–associated severe disease and death.”

At posted coordinates, look at the sign's words and count the number of letters to answer the following which will get you to the Final N47 42.ABC W122 12.DDE.

A is the number of letters in the 1st word in the 1st line.

B is the number of words in both lines.

C is the number of letters in the 3rd word in the 1st line.

D is the number of words in the 1st line.

E is the number of letters in the last word in the 2nd line.

The cache is a tiny lurvig hanging in a public place. Access only during daylight.

Congratulations to DM&K Cachers and Kirkgirls for FTF.
