Geocache Description:

Welcome to Coolnwynpin Nature Refuge. You are in the Tingalpa and Coolnwynpin Creek catchment area.

This area provides a unique habitat for Redlands' native flora and fauna. It is also home to a rare frog Crinia tinnula that likes the slightly acidic water of the area. Keep an eye out for this creature that goes by the more common name of Wallum froglet
(catchy isn't it smiley).
They grow up to 20 mm in length and have a pointed snout. If you spot one, please put it in your log! Maybe you'll also find a wallaby or koala on the walk in.

Note: Handling of frogs should be avoided to prevent introducing disease

This cache is placed at a perfect position to stop for a time of frog spotting

Please do not post a photo of this cache otherwise your log will be deleted

The cache can be reached from many directions, our favourite walk to the cache has been marked by a parking waypoint.

Congratulations Frankhem on the FTF!
