Geocache Description:

This is a lovely (yet steep) walk up to Troutbeck, our favourite place to visit here in the Lake District. There are many well known footpaths and bridleways that lead up to Troutbeck but this one is by far in our top 3. The bridleway (also called Waine Lane) starts/ends a few minutes walk from Brockhole Visitor Centre. Please be careful when crossing the road during busy times. Once you get on the bridleway, continue on towards the picturesque Middlerigg Tarn and admire the large ash trees that you pass here and there. If you're lucky, you also get to see some red squirrels scampering up the trees.

The cache is a makeshift pokeball and we advise that you bring your own writing material. Once you have found the cache, we ask that you return everything to the way it was as best as possible before continuing on your journey.
