The city of Charleston, Tennessee offers a wide variety of recreational facilities. Located in the center of town, is the Hoyt Berry Municipal Park, named after the former city mayor, and the first elected black mayor in Tennessee. An attraction of this park, is the Tennessee Civil War Trails, which is part of a five-state trails system that invites you to explore both well-known and less-familiar sites associated with America’s greatest drama.
