The Kinnert trail is a 65 km long hiking trail that encircles the Sea of Galilee, and provides a way for the public to access the lake. Many parts of the trail are also suitable for cycling.
The project was an initiative of the Society for the Protectional Nature, dating back to 2003. In 2008 the trail was constructed to follow the "upper red line" of the lake. It was build to preserve the natural landscape and heritage, promote tourism and improve accessibility for people with disabilities.

החברה להגנת הטבע יזמו את השביל, וההצעה הועברה לאגוד ערים כנרת-האון. יש לו מקטע ממעגן ועד קיבוץ האון, ומקטע מכפר הנופש האון למוצא הירדן. בקטע של האון יש תחנת הדלק, סוסיתא, ומצבת הטייסים הטורקיים
