For our 30th anniversary dinner, Mrs. Gamer and I decided to order pick-up from our long-time favorite Thai restaurant. Before Gamer Son and I left the house, I checked to see if it might be possible to hide another commemorative anniversary geocache in the parking lot...and the area was open and useable! WOO-HOO!!
But there was another reason why I loved the idea of bringing people to this location. If you are a cat lover, you absolutely MUST come here in the early evening, before the sun goes down. Dozens...sometimes several dozen...stray cats hang around here. Gamer Son and I have come here on a few occasions, together and separately, just to hang out with the kitties! And if you time it right, perhaps you'll be here when Carlos arrives. Carlos is a big-hearted gentleman who has apparently been coming out here for 12 years with pre-prepared meals on trays for the cats. They know him and love him, and when he pulls up, they immediately congregate around, and even atop, his car as they await his evening generosity. The cats may be here at other times of the day too, but evening seems to be when we've most consistently encountered the throngs of feline friends!
