The Utah Valley Express Bus (830X or UVX) opened in August of 2018. The "light rail on rubber tires" has its own lane through Orem and the majority of Provo. The bus system has 18 stops and connects 2 malls, 2 university campuses, and 2 train stations as well as many other UTA bus lines. The UVX line is free to ride through 2021 thanks to a federal grant from the US Department of Transportation. Buses come every 6-15 minutes throughout the day and every 30-60 minutes through the night.
One day as we were caching we had the idea, "what if we could hide a cache in the same exact spot at every UVX station in a series?" After some searching, E found a brilliant spot and we set out to locate containers. This is the first of hopefully many to come and will serve as our "trial run" to make sure all the caches will work. The majority of the UVX stations are far enough from other caches to place a cache, but a few are not so we will post them all as mystery caches. The stations that are open for a cache will have a cache placed in the same spot. PLEASE BE STEALTHY AND CONSIDER WAITING UNTIL NIGHT TIME. Or go on Sundays (buses aren't in service) These caches are in very high-muggle areas and we want them to last. Log only, BYOP.
UVX Stations are wheelchair accessible and the cache is too. Handicache rating of H11112.
