Oliver is 7 years old and loves rocks. He particularly loves painted rocks. So, we created this cache as a fun cache for people of all ages! If you read this far enough in advance, you should bring a "really cool rock, like with sparkles" (in OIiver's words), or paint a small rock. We live close enough that we may stop by on occasion to replenish the painted rock supply.
The cache is pretty kid-friendly and therefore not too difficult to find. You will have to be wary of muggles, especially on nice days. The cache is a small rectangular box container, covered in camo duct tape. Bring your own pen/pencil. Cache is watertight, but be sure to snap it shut correctly so moisture stays out!
At one point there were 2 "Rock Boxes" at Lake Nokomis, but sadly the 1st one has been taken and it won't be replaced at this time!
