Geocache Description:

This is the second cache in what I intend to develop into a series covering my cycle route across North Brighton (which I call the North Brighton Circular, hence the NBC in the title). This one is located shortly after the gravel path that runs along Ditchling Road and just before a bridge which passes over the A27 (hence the name - though, out of error, I wrote A23 inside the cache). This path provides a beautiful sample of the South Downs, and is surrounded by beautiful wild flowers during the summer. From this cache, you can walk to the woods in Stanmer Park (see below).

If there is someone else along the pavement here, try to avoid blocking it/stand out the way as it is quite narrow. Also BEWARE OF TRAFFIC, especially if you are with children, as cars can be very fast along Ditchling Road, as well as the road at the end of the T-junction. This one shouldn't be too difficult - and I've tried to make the hint slightly cryptic. You're looking for a 1.1 litre clip-lock tuppaware box covered in black gaffer tape. When you leave the cache, please make sure the log book and pen are inside the re-sealable bag and all four clips on the box are shut - they are easy to miss. BEWARE OF THORNS AND STINGING NETTLES when looking for the cache. Good luck!

To walk to Stanmer Park woods, walk towards the T-junction and turn right. Cross the road at the traffic island, and follow the public footpath sign. Once you get to a gap in a brick wal, walk through it and you are in Stanmer Park.
