This 75-acre wooded parcel on Wilson Pond includes three vernal pools and over 1,100 feet of undeveloped shoreline. This land was farmed in the 19th century, and then was a wooded pasture and woodlot.
It should be about a 0.5 mile walk from the trailhead on Hardscrabble rd. to get to this geocache, or you can paddle in and only have to walk a couple hundred feet. The lake entrance is along Wilson pond and is pretty easy to find as you paddle down the shore. Look for a couple signs with maps on a tree if you want to land there.
