Lake Penhollow is at a compost and yard debris facility. It’s on Cottonwood between Hwy. 97 and Circle 10 in Sunriver. There is plenty of parking, but if you’re in Sunriver, just bike to it and burn some calories! I found this place by accident and thought it a good place for a cache. There is no need to go past the entry gate. The cache is not inside the debris facility and it’s not on private property. The private property signs refer to the fenced and gated facility. When open, you can take your yard debris in for composting. Bring your own writing tool, no room in the log for one.
