Sweet Conections Traditional Cache

If your name is not on the paper LOG BOOK, your log will be deleted. 

This is a puzzle gadget cache. It can take about 10 minuets to figure it out, but it's not hard once you have looked it over. Please do not ask the librarians for help. They are busy ladies and do not have the time. I have been asked to mention this. Also do not yell at them for not helping. Geocachers are better than that! If you need help please message me directly. If their are any issues I do live locally and can fix it right away. 

Once again this is gadget cache. You will need to use your thinking powers to open it. Please respect the area and the cache so it will last for years to come. You will need nothing but your fingers to access the log. Find the password to the lock and earn that smiley. 

The fun is in the find, so please help me out by not leaving the log exposed. Please return the log to the "middle" see details in the hint. 
Libraries are so much fun for young and old! My kids love visiting this place because not only do they have more books than us, (and we have LOTS). They also have fun activities for all ages throughout the seasons.
