The Krafft Theatres opened as a modern, state-of-the-art facility on December 19th, 1986 and was a typical (for the day) multi-plex type theatres with six screens available for folks to pick-n-choose their entertainment feature that they wanted to see.
The theatre boasted Rocking Chair seats, "real butter" for the popcorn, stereo sound, indoor box office, and many more features which seemed either "new" or "state of the art" for the time.

The facility was named because of its proximity to Krafft Road, which runs along east-to-west here.
It would later have two more screens added to accomodate more films and entertainment for the public.
At this time, its unclear whether it will reopen or what will become of the area's entertainment sources like this one.
