The access road to this geocache begins with a ford over a small creek, suitable only for 4WD vehicles, ATV's, mountain bikes, or on foot. I wouldn't advise attempting to cross it in your minivan or BMW. The road to the cache is all uphill, and is rocky in some places. The cache is hidden off the side road further than most people would probably care to venture randomly into the woods. It's peaceful here. Listen to the breeze through the pines, enjoy the blue sky and fantastic scenery, breathe in the fresh mountain air. This cache will be more difficult in the Winter, but not impossible. Altitude at the cache in excess of 8,300 feet above sea level, so come prepared for sudden changes in the weather, and bring adequate footwear for a hike in the woods. Flip-flops not recommended.
Original cache contains a few small swag items for trade and a log book. Please replace the cache as you found it so the next person enjoys the hunt, respect the area, CITO if needed, and don't post pictures or information in your log that gives away the hide.
