Its a very short walk from the parking area. On saturdays, the farmers market is in the area until noon. You can still get to the cache but the upper parking lot is a lot busier so there may be more walking involved.
What you're looking at in front of you is the set to a revolutionary war outdoor drama usually running from June to August with American frontiersman, Daniel Boone as a main character. Covid being what it is, they've taken a year off but dont mind anyone touring the area and using the picnic tables scattered about.
You shouldn't have to cross the railing at the top of the amphitheater but if you want to, there are steps left and right. Please place the cache exactly as found so it remains wheel chair accessible. Take your time, feel free to look around, and happy hunting!
