Nestled along the AuSable River, this small nature trail system is a lesser known hike in the area. During my walks here, I have only encountered one other person, who is also a regular to this trail. Park by the national forest sign or in the Forest Service office visitor parking, and take the crosswalk across McKinley Road to get to the trailhead. The cache is a short hike from the trailhead, and will take you to a peaceful spot to sit and unwind near the river. Note: This cache may not be winter friendly: depending how much snow we get in the season.
