Christmas 2013 my kids got together and bought me a Magellan Explorist GPS. That was when I started serious Geocaching and the first series of caches that I used it for was the Emma series by Shootthebuck. Unfortunately, Shootthebuck is no longer active and "Emma 5" has been archived. Although I have found many similar caches since, I was really impressed by this one at the time, so I have replaced it with a similar hide. Of course that will make it way too easy for anyone who found Emma 5, but that is OK! By the way, the Magellan had to be replaced recently because it would only boot if I put it in the fridge!
Noël 2013, mes enfants se sont réunis et m'ont acheté un GPS Magellan Explorist. C'est à ce moment-là que j'ai commencé le Geocaching sérieux et la première série de caches pour laquelle je l'ai utilisé était la série Emma de Shootthebuck. Malheureusement, Shootthebuck n'est plus actif et "Emma 5" a été archivé. Bien que j'aie trouvé de nombreux caches similaires depuis, j'ai été vraiment impressionné par celui-ci à l'époque, je l'ai donc remplacé par un cache similaire. Bien sûr, cela rendra la tâche facile pour tous ceux qui ont trouvé Emma 5, mais ce n'est pas grave! Au fait, le Magellan a dû être remplacé récemment parce qu’il ne démarrerait que si je le mettais au frigo!
