An addition to the WIC Series of caches which are located a short distance off the paved pathway following the Western Irrigation canal system leading to Chestermere.
Aug 2 2020 was going to be a hot one, and Mrs HH suggested a geobike by the Western Irrigation District Canal. We parked on the road in Calgary at N50 57.912 W113 58.234 (98 Ave and 44 St SE) close to the gate that accesses the pathway just east of "WIC: Where the ride began". We then rode caching and hiding, east along the paved pathway to Chestermere and back, a round trip of about 30km, but essentially flat and good riding. So load up your device and and head out to enjoy a short or longer bike ride or perhaps a walk.
