“The Nailsea Round series is a trail of caches encompassing the Nailsea
Round footpath that surrounds the town. It is placed in three parts by
three geocachers: Daryl’s dad, Swanageboy and Team Mojo 100.”

Along this walk you will pass 49 caches in total, 29 Caches that are from stand alone or parts of other series plus 20 of The Nailsea Round cache Series .
Starting from layby at Wraxall House N 51 26.415 W 002 44.700 ,the Nailsea Round takes you to Wraxall, Tower House Woods and West End, Morgan’s Hill, Backwell Lake then back to Wraxall House via Backwell Bow.
Alternative parking at Engine Lane, Nailsea or Backwell Lake (time restrictions may be in place), Backwell Station car park (charges apply).
The Round is waymarked with distinctive waymarks.
Up to the nineteenth century the moors flooded often and made nailsea a small island after this the moors were successfully drained and the land could be used for agriculture, After heavy prolonged rain the land can still flood in some patches.
From this cache follow path onto,
Phoenix (#007 North Drov: From Russia with love.
From there continue ahead to gravel track and turn left to Treasure island ( Black Dog ).
Turn left onto road and on to A Fine Pair #488 -Nailsea.
Follow road on to just past houses on the right and take small footpath on left just before South Fell to find Treasure Island ( Ships Ballast ).
Follow hedge on left across field to footpath gate and Treasure Island ( Deadmans Chest ).
From end of boardwalk turn left up hill to stone stile and Treasure Island ( The Lookout ).
Cross stile and follow left hand edge of field to metal footpath gate and Treasure Island ( Peanut).
Cross farm yard to the right and follow gravel track down to Treasure Island ( Polly's perch ).
Continue along track to road and turn left to road juction and Base of Three (if you have solved the Puzzle before hand)
Follow Bridleway opposite Engine Lane to The Nailsea Round ( well connected )..
This area is Part of the Tickenham, Nailsea and Kenn moors Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) so please take care not to stray off the footpaths or damage any flora and fauna in the area.
