During lockdown I frequently walked through these paths from Dibden Purlieu down to Dibden and back and identified several places for caches. At times you will see glimpses through the trees to Southampton Water. You can link the six caches on a circular walk that will take about an hour depending on how fast you travel. You may need good boots or wellies after much rain in the winter between numbers 1 and 2. The track is separated from the surrounding fields in which you will see horses. Please DO NOT feed the horses and please keep dogs on a lead. In the summer/autumn you might like to take something to collect blackberries.
This footpath has now been completely upgraded. Between numbers 1 and 2 the path has been improved and should be easily used whatever the weather.
Since replacement you will definitely need tweezers and a pen.
