This wherigo will take you on a 1.8 km hike 'around' the old Moorooduc Quarry site. It may take up to 1 hour to complete.
There are some great views, so it is best attempted during the day.
There are many vertical features here, and as you make your way around, you may learn about a few others.
The Moorooduc Quarry was established in 1887 and in 1888 a railway line was built from the quarry to Moorooduc Station so that stone and ballast could be transported from the quarry for the construction of the railway line between Baxter and Mornington.
