This cache is not far from the trail (40 - 60ft). However, it will be hard to get to, for you must go into the dark cypress dome where GPS signals are spottty & into the huge swarms of hungry mosquitos.
To get this cache;
This cache should be an easy find it was originally a beat-up pipe piece that found in this very cypress dome, after I drilled some holes and added a log book I returned to the cypress dome and hung the cache 7-8ft up on a non-cypress tree with a crooked-ish branch. To arrive at this cache you must walk down the trail until you see a pole that says "survey marker" just behind that land mark you will see a concrete pole and what appears to have been a wooden board walk out to it. Not far from this concrete pole is a pump in the middle of the dome, the cache is only 30-40ft from this pump. A black tube 7-8ft high.
