I've been enjoying another hobby that I am able to combine with Geocaching and Photography. It's Rockhounding with my prospecter friends Leigh and Margo. Our adventures commenced July 18th, 2020 while camping on the Bombi. I was driving and Margo was watching the GPS endeavoring to find one of a fellow cachers elusive wilderness caches. I discovered we were on the wrong road but found the scenery of where we did end up very enjoyable. So enjoyable that I had to share it with fellow 'mountain scenery enthusiasts'. The whole drive out to this valley is full of marvels of which I also marked so they would be found. As I find more, I will share those, also.
I wasn't able to take my Escape on this trail as there is a deep deactivation partway up the road. I believe an ATV can get through. There is a small creek to ford there as well. But, the short walk is worth it.
