I've been enjoying another hobby that I am able to combine with Geocaching and Photography. It's Rockhounding with my prospecter friends Leigh and Margo. I found the scenery of where we went very enjoyable. So enjoyable that I had to share it with fellow 'mountain scenery enthusiasts'. The whole drive through this valley full of creeks and full of marvels of which I also marked so they would be found. As I find more, I will share those, also.
This is another area rockhounding has introduced me to. Along the Lemon Creek FSR, you will pass by this hole in the rock wall. DO NOT ENTER! This is an old uranium mine. Uranium prices went down decades ago and the mine followed suit.
