I've been enjoying another hobby that I am able to combine with Geocaching and Photography. It's Rockhounding with my prospecter friends Leigh and Margo. I found the scenery of where we went very enjoyable. So enjoyable that I had to share it with fellow 'mountain scenery enthusiasts'. The whole drive through this valley full of creeks and full of marvels of which I also marked so they would be found. As I find more, I will share those, also.
This is another area rockhounding has introduced me to. Continue on the Lemon Creek FSR and you will come to this creek. The creek's name came from Leigh and his buddy whom is also a miner. Cresson Creek was named after a gold mine in the states because the rocks in this area contain the same minerals as there.
