Roorda Wildlife Area
Opened in Summer 2017, Roorda Wildlife Area consists of 23 acres of grassland with a 10.5-acre pond. In January of 2018 an unusually large bloom of pink algae was seen just under the surface of the ice on the lake. As of now, swimming is not allowed in the pond, but there is a boat ramp for public use.
