Note, this is not an easy park and grab despite how it may appear on the map. You'll have to hike or bike from either the Mason's Bend parking area (Weir Court) 1.25 miles away, or from the River Walk trailhead parking across the Hwy 21 bridge, which is about a mile depending on where you actually park and begin the hike as there are multiple options. You can either mountain bike or hike...trails are multi use. Photo taken from nearby the cache looking South over the Catawba River to show you a visual reference of the distance from the River Walk trailhead area. Popular area for kayakers and tubers entering/exiting the Catawba. If you are brining young children you are better off walking/biking from the Mason's Bend parking area.
