I grew up in the village of Yeoford back when the pub was called The Mare and Foal, there was still a village Post Office and the Yeoford Fun Day including the Fun Run was an annual event.
This circular trail is roughly 3 miles long and the caches are placed on country lanes so please be aware of passing vehicles. When you reach the final cache there are instructions for following the railway line footpath to make the return journey to the car. (Sorry - no caches able to be placed along this footpath due to restrictions).
This cache is No.1 as if you are heading out on foot or bike you will find you meet more downhills than up – if you would prefer a slightly more arduous journey please reverse the trail and head along the railway line footpath to start with No. 7.
If you use this as a cache and dash it is probably best to park at the parking waypoint and then to take a short stroll along to gz.
When you find the cache please keep twisting the lid to open it. The log book is in the inner tube - please place back in here before putting back together - thank you.
