Welcome to the "Golden Trail!" East Penn Township is hoping to eventually upgrade this trail and connect it to the D&L. Portions of the trail are a little overgrown and there is one spot where you may need to cross some water depending on the amount of rain. Until upgrades are done to the trail I would not recommend biking this section. Each of the geocaches in this series will have something to do with the "gold" theme!
Could there really be a Pirate Gold Doubloon in East Penn Township?!?! There are rumors of Native American relics that have been found in the area along the Lizard Creek, however, I seriously doubt that any pirates would have made their way here to hide their treasure!
