Geocache Description:

Welcome to Roy Lake State Park!

This is a series of gadget caches that we hope will make you smile!

This geocache uses an alternate means to get the combination to the direction lock. Use the magnet attached to the cable and hover it around the numbers, A direction will be revealed. Follow the numbers and you will have the 4 directions needed to open the lock. If you mess up, push the lockhasp closed twice and try again. This cache uses reed switches to activate the lights. When a magnet is placed near a reed switch, it changes it's state, allowing electricity to flow.

Roy Lake State Park requires a Day Pass to use the facilities (currently $8 per vehicle). You can obtain a day use pass at either the entrace to the West side of the park or the East side.

This cache was placed with permission of SDGF&P.

CONGRATS to ruthav and sdaxeman for FTF!!!
