QT.Coon's Legendary Lost Pirate Treasure Chest

My daughter and QT.Coon wanted to create some fantastic Pirate themed caches for all children and adults to enjoy.
If this is your FIRST time Geocaching, please make sure you read the GEOCACHING 101 RULES.
We created this large cache, which resembles and makes you feel like you have discovered a real Pirate Treasure Chest, with all the faux gold coins, diamonds, sapphires and rubies!
SORRY: This cache may NOT be available during very snowy winter months as it may become buried and hard to reach.

A short, but beautiful walk by a pond in the suburbs, this is a simple hide.
This is a great cache for parents to take their kids out which we hope will not only give them some wonderful memories, it may also help get them in the spirit of Geocaching.
Make it a wonderful afternoon adventure and locate all 5 of QT.Coonâs Pirate Geocache Hides using this LIST.
For all those experienced Geocachers with thousands of finds, we wanted to give you a special CACHE that you can share with your friends that really made you feel like you actually found a real Pirate Treasure!

Parking at the Magna Center (see waypoint) or limited parking in the side streets.
Watch for muggles! This is an extremely busy walkway. Get to the treasure, sign the log and put the treasure back without anyone seeing you!Â
Oh, bye the way... YES you are welcomed to take 1 PIECE of treasure, either one Gold Coin, Diamond, Sapphire or Rubie as a souvenir if you can find it!

The Story of QT.Coon's Legendary Lost Pirate Treasure Chest

A long, long time ago, when Newmarket was very young and just starting, pirates made their way through this area and stopped to take a rest. While they were camping, they hid their pirate chest because they didnât want anybody to steal it.
Then one night a Witch with her pet named Bob came by and scared the pirates and they didnât know what to do. The Witch was very upset that the pirates were camping in Newmarket and she also knew that they had this amazing treasure. The witch told the Pirates to leave but they would not listen to her. So the witch put a curse on the pirates treasure to make it disappear.
The pirates looked all over and could not find their treasure that the Witches curse hid.
After looking for a long time, the pirates made a big mess by cutting and destroying trees, stealing animals and stuff from the town people.
The people living in the Town of Newmarket wanted the pirates to leave and then one night everybody worked together to chase them away!
Because the pirates were chased away so quickly by the town people, the pirates dropped and left some things behind!
The legend of the Lost Pirate Treasure Chest in Newmarket still lives on today.
