Found this ideal location whilst having an ice cream on a sunny day in Christchurch Quay.
Place Mill
Mentioned in the Doomsday survey of 1086 valued at 30s a year, being the property of the Canon's of the Holy Trinity Church, Place Mill has medieval stonework and Tudor 18th century brickwork was used for both fulling (cleaning and thickening cloth) and corn grinding until 1908.
Parking is available nearby either at Christchurch Priory Car park or Christchurch Quay car park, but both can be busy on Market day (usually Monday) or during the summer.
Plenty of muggles about in the holidays so maximum stealth required!
