Geocache Description:

I found my first geocache on 20 April 2018. It was the first school holidays of the year. My first born son was trying out a new and popular location based app. I didn't like it and thought there must be something better. A quick search and the first thing I found was the Geocaching app. I downloaded it and discovered there was a geocache hidden only 50m from home. Soon we were off on our first geocaching adventure!

At first the only thing we found was rubbish. We continued searching but found nothing. I decided to take a second look at the little plastic bag my second born son had found. Inside was a film canister. When I opened it up, I had found... my first geocache!

This geocache was Kuringa Drive-By #2 (GC698ZV). We were so excited that we went off in search of Kuringa Drive-By #1 (GC698ZM) but we failed to find it making it our first DNF.

So when I saw that Kuringa Drive-By #2 had been archived, I decided to put out my first traditional, first micro and first cache hide of 2020 to commemorate my first ever cache find using a container from my first prize win at my first CITO in Gungahlin. And just to continue this contrived theme of firsts and seconds, I've hidden it in a spot that is different to the first and which was the second location I tried as my first attempt was too close to a second cache. So I had to go out and hide it a second time. And then I lost the first draft of this description and had have a second go at it just to add to my list of firsts and seconds.

Will this be your first cache find? Your first trad? Your first find hidden by me? Make sure you mention in your log some relevant or contrived first (or second) connection.

Meanwhile, I wonder who will get the first to find? ... Congratulations to dty73!
