Park your car at the gateway. You are looking at the Toi Tois Cubs and Scouts Den previously Tokanui School from 1905 -1972. The building to the left was the Teachers' house and another classroom was located at the bottom of the hill/driveway on the right and was shifted to become part of the Waikawa Museum. Tokanui School is now located behind you back in the township. Girl Guides and Brownies also attended and held their meetings in the bottom classroom and the school house until they folded in 2016. Some local girls attend Aotearoa Guides and Brownies which is the guiding programme by correspondence/online. This cache was hidden by an Aotearoa Guide as part of her Geocacher Badge.
The cache is a colourful sistema container to the left of the driveway. Small swaps.
