Date: Saturday, August 14th, 2021
Time: 1:00PM to 3:00PM
Place: Ilwaco Marina Park, Outer Harbor Way SE
Come out and celebrate Geocachings 20th anniversary POST COVID!
It's time to get out and cache and celebrate like never before! The CDC and Washington State believes it's time that we dump the masks if we've been vaccinated. They feel it's safe to hang with others again. So, if you have been vaccinated and feel comfortable enough, come on out and celebrate by meeting other cachers and enjoy a treat. If you haven't been vaccinated, please wear a mask and continue to social distance so that you and others feel comfortable.
Refreshments will be provided. Earn a new souvenir by attending, if you don't have it already.
**This event is outdoors and will happen rain or shine so you may want to pack that umbrella, just in case. Also, bring a lawnchair to relax in.
***Parking coordinates have been listed here, it's just a short walk to the event location. There are a few parking spots for cars at the event location but lets save those for people who have mobility issues. The parking lot at the event is for trucks with boat trailers. Thank you.
Activities:
- Drawing for 3 unacitivated TBs
- Group Photo at 2pm
- "Photo Booth" - A little tropical fun
This Event is part of a limited release of Community Celebration Events to celebrate 20 years of geocaching. Geocachers hosted events between May 2, 2020 and December 31, 2021. Learn more about Community Celebration Events on the Geocaching Blog.
